The journey from Lyon Part-Dieu or Perrache mainly follows the A43 toll motorway towards Chambéry and the Savoie region. After the flatter motorway sections near Lyon, the scenery gradually changes to alpine valleys and mountain ridgelines approaching Chambéry and Albertville. From there, the transfer continues on the N90 towards Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

Near Landry, the route turns towards Peisey-Vallandry and climbs through smaller mountain villages surrounded by forest. The approach feels quieter and more traditional, with chalet-style hamlets connected directly to the Paradiski ski area.

Lyon has two main stations — Part-Dieu and Perrache — and we serve both at the same price. Just book from "Lyon Train Station" and note which station in your booking. Peisey-Vallandry spreads across several villages at different altitudes. Plan-Peisey and Vallandry are the main ski villages at around 1600 m. Below them sit the older villages of Peisey and Nancroix, and further down the valley, Landry. Each has its own access road branching off as you climb from the valley floor. Confirm exactly which village you're heading to when you book.
