Near Moûtiers, the road leaves the main valley route and climbs gently towards Brides-les-Bains. Known for its thermal spa atmosphere and direct lift access into the Three Valleys, the resort sits lower in the valley than many surrounding ski stations, making the final approach relatively straightforward.
