Leaving Les Menuires, the road descends through Saint-Martin-de-Belleville and the Belleville Valley to Moûtiers. After joining the N90, the transfer heads west through Albertville before continuing alongside Lake Annecy and north on the motorway towards Geneva. Depending on traffic, the driver may choose between the two sides of the lake near Annecy.

Saturday departures from the Belleville Valley can bring heavy outbound traffic on the road down to Moûtiers. The Lake Annecy and Geneva approach sections can also slow during busy winter weekends.

We factor all of this in when we schedule your transfer to Geneva Airport: terminal operating hours, check-in deadlines, and expected traffic on your route. In peak ski season, we often recommend departing 2–3 hours earlier than you might expect. Mountain traffic on busy Saturdays can add significant time to the journey. You may end up waiting longer at the airport — but that's a much better outcome than missing your flight. You can set your own preferred departure time, but we'll always flag if we think it carries a risk.
