Leaving Courchevel, the road descends through a series of bends past the lower villages of Le Praz and Saint-Bon before rejoining the valley floor at Moûtiers. From there, the N90 follows the Tarentaise corridor westward through Albertville and onto the motorway towards Chambéry Airport.

Saturday morning departures from the Three Valleys can create sustained congestion on the roads down to Moûtiers. Any additional disruption — snowfall, an incident on the road — can extend delays significantly.

Chalets in Courchevel — especially in 1850 and Moriond — often have similar or identical names, and standard navigation can lead to the wrong door.
