The road to 1850 in winter is demanding — tight switchbacks, heavy snowfall, and peak-week traffic. A note on chalets: navigation in Courchevel can mislead even experienced drivers — the same chalet name can appear in multiple villages, and Google Maps sometimes routes to a hotel or shop instead.
