Leaving La Tania, the wooded slopes and narrower Three Valleys access roads connect back to the N90 near Moûtiers. From Albertville, the transfer continues through Ugine and alongside Lake Annecy before joining the motorway north towards Geneva. Depending on traffic, the driver may choose the quieter side of the lake. The border crossing into Switzerland is usually straightforward.

Saturday departures from the Three Valleys can bring heavy outbound traffic on the roads down to Moûtiers. The Lake Annecy and Geneva approach sections can also carry significant traffic during peak winter weekends.

La Tania's centre is pedestrianised, but your driver can reach the accommodation directly — most chalets and apartments sit on the edge of the village along roads that loop around the car-free core. Confirm your exact address when you book. If your chalet has sent you specific arrival instructions, pass them on — some properties sit among the trees off the main road and aren't always easy to find on the first visit.

In peak ski season, we often recommend departing 2–3 hours earlier than you might expect. Mountain traffic on busy Saturdays can add significant time to the journey. You may end up waiting longer at the airport — but that's a much better outcome than missing your flight.
