Leaving La Plagne, the road descends through the high-altitude Paradiski villages and forested slopes towards Aime in the Tarentaise Valley. From there, the N90 heads west through Moûtiers and Albertville before the route continues alongside Lake Annecy and north towards Geneva. Depending on traffic, the driver may choose between the two sides of the lake near Annecy.

On Saturday mornings, the N90 between Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Moûtiers carries heavy outbound traffic from the upper Tarentaise resorts. The Lake Annecy and Geneva approach sections can also slow during busy winter weekends.

La Plagne has many parts so please confirm exactly which one you're heading to when you book. The name alone isn't enough. The main high-altitude sites are Plagne Centre, Plagne Bellecôte, Plagne 1800, Belle Plagne, Plagne Villages, Plagne Soleil, and Plagne Aime 2000 at the top. Each has its own access and its own pickup point. Belle Plagne is fully pedestrianised — include your residence name at booking so we come to the right entrance.

We calculate your pickup time. Geneva Airport operates on a night curfew — the terminal closes late evening and doesn't reopen until early morning. We factor all of this in when we schedule your transfer to Geneva Airport: terminal operating hours, check-in deadlines, and expected traffic on your route. In peak ski season, we often recommend departing 2–3 hours earlier than you might expect. Mountain traffic on busy Saturdays can add significant time to the journey. You may end up waiting longer at the airport — but that's a much better outcome than missing your flight. You can set your own preferred departure time, but we'll always flag if we think it carries a risk.
