Leaving Courchevel, the road descends through lower villages and forested slopes to Moûtiers before joining the N90 west towards Albertville. From there, the A43 motorway heads north-west towards Lyon. Drop-off is at your Lyon address.

Saturday departures from the Three Valleys can bring heavy outbound traffic on the roads down to Moûtiers. The motorway sections between Chambéry and Lyon can also slow during peak winter weekends.

Chalets in Courchevel — especially in 1850 and Moriond — often have similar or identical names, and standard navigation can lead to the wrong door. If your chalet manager has given you a specific access note or coordinates, send them our way and we'll arrive exactly where we need to.

Your driver drops you at the door. Give the exact address at booking — hotel, apartment, or any destination in Lyon — and that's where your private transfer to Lyon delivers you. Central Lyon — particularly Vieux-Lyon on the west bank and the Presqu'île between the rivers — has pedestrian streets and access restrictions. If your destination is in one of these areas, your driver will get as close as the road allows and help with luggage from there. We'll flag this in advance if it applies.
