After pickup at Grenoble Alpes–Isère Airport, the transfer joins the motorway towards Chambéry and Albertville before continuing into the Tarentaise Valley. Although named after Grenoble, the airport is located well outside the city itself and mainly serves winter ski charter traffic during the season. Near Moûtiers, the route branches towards the Three Valleys resorts. Known for its thermal spa atmosphere and direct lift access into the Three Valleys, the resort sits lower in the valley than many surrounding ski stations, making the final approach relatively straightforward.
