The transfer from Geneva to Sainte Foy is a comfortable and straightforward journey into the Alps. Your driver will take the most efficient route to the resort, ensuring a smooth and stress-free trip.
Your driver picks you up from your Geneva address and joins the A41 motorway after passing through the city. Near Annecy, the scenery shifts from motorway sections to lakeside roads with broad views across the water and surrounding peaks. The route continues through Ugine and Albertville before joining the N90 towards the Tarentaise valleys.
After Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the road branches off into the quieter upper Tarentaise towards Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise. The final section passes smaller villages, wooded slopes, and narrower alpine roads, with a noticeably calmer atmosphere compared with the larger neighbouring resorts.
Under normal conditions, the journey takes around 2 h 25 min, depending on traffic and weather. During winter weekends and peak ski season, travel times may increase. Winter traffic mainly affects the N90 approaching Bourg-Saint-Maurice. The upper road to Sainte-Foy is usually less congested, although snowfall can occasionally slow the final ascent.
Your driver comes to your address — no walking, no taxi rank, no waiting in the cold. Just share your pickup address at booking (hotel name, apartment address, or any Geneva location) and your driver will be there at the agreed time. If your address is in a pedestrian zone, we'll suggest a nearby meeting point — within a 5-minute walk at most. We'll confirm this in your booking confirmation so there are no surprises on the day. Don't have your exact address yet? That's fine at booking. Just make sure we have it by the day before your Geneva transfer at the latest — that gives your driver time to plan the approach, especially for addresses in the old town or around Eaux-Vives. Your driver will message you when they're on their way.
